Michael celebrated turning 70 and fifty years in showbiz at a private event in Denham hosted by Julie Long, including a surprise reunion with old friends, colleagues, drinks, a special film and a cabaret.

We can finally reveal that House Of The Long Shadows (1982) will be the first of Michael Armstrong's Screen Plays to be published and sold. The first of a limited number of gold-foiled, hardback Collector's Editions will be made exclusively available in Summer 2014.

Michael's seminal essay: "The Correct Perspective", originally written to accompany the Collector Editions (but later removed in printing) is now available to read online. Michael re-addresses the role of film director vs screenwriter in "The Correct Perspective".
